Community Council switches to FT refreshments
FT town group presents to Community Councillors
At a presentation to the Community Council on Monday 4 March 2019, following their decision last year to remove the town's Fairtrade Town signs, the Councillors agreed to replace their current coffee/tea/sugar with Fairtrade equivalents and to lead the town in its pursuit of the ideals of Fairtrade and trade justice. The Councillors did not consider that signs at the entrance to the town that would tell visitors and citizens that we are a Fairtrade Town important enough to be on our road signage.
