ST ANDREWS HAS BEEN A FAIRTRADE
TOWN
SINCE ST ANDREWS DAY 2005 - 3 full years!!!!!
The Competition
The competition was to design a Webpage which
we will publish as part of this website to tell visitors to the
site why Fairtrade is so important.
Individual entries were divided into school year groups,
and there was
also a group entry category. For the individual entries we awarded
prizes in
two sections:
for computer generated entries and for those completely drawn
by hand.

The Guides also spent time with members of the Fairtrade
Campaign group exploring how lives could be transformed by Fairtrade,
located the countries which Fairtrade products come from,
identified what local support groups are like, and discussed how
they and you can help.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the competition,
and for thinking about why we should buy fairly traded goods.
