· PR has yet to contact the Parks Department re.

2. Annual General Meeting Business· PM took the chair. The following office bearers were re-elected: chair: A. Curteis (prop. AM, second. MP); secretary: M. Robinson (prop. AC, second. MP); treasurer: P. Robinson (prop. AS, second. AC). M. Popple was elected as vice-chair (prop. AS, second. AM); A. Smith and A. Marks are ordinary members. · PR reported on the financial situation. Statements were yet to arrive from the bank so the draft accounts (previously circulated) had not yet been audited. Currently there is £484.19 in the account, which will pay for the website, banner, and production of certificates (AS) and finders (PR). 3. Certificates· Only a few certificates have still to be distributed. · Changes to the previous directory will be made in keeping with changes discovered while handing out the certificates: AS to amend directory list and forward to MR, who will check it and send it to MP. · PM suggested writing again to new
4. Finders
· PR/MR to print the finder once amended and finalised with logos etc. · No offers of help with finder and freebie
distribution had been received for · MR to email contact list of helpers again and suggest they choose any time/date that suits them. · AC to keep finders, and freebie samples of tea, coffee and sugar in her porch or shed for that period. · MR to try to contact University OWS representative, to offer them free samples of hot chocolate with use-by dates of September 09 for use together with finders at the students' Societies Fair in September. 5. Website
· MP reported that progress is being made; AP currently sorting out email accounts. · More photos would enhance the website so PR to enquire about using some from Burma Day/Banana eating event earlier in the year.
6. Open 2010
· MP hopes to arrange another meeting at the R&A, together with Fife Council and University representatives, to talk about possibilities for using Fairtrade products in 2010.
7. Banner
· PR reported that no further progress has been made, but it is hoped that the collage design will be available at the end of the month. 8. AOB
1. MR had written an article for St Andrews in Focus, and will submit it for inclusion in the Nov/Dec issue, together with two photographs. 2. AC
handed out fliers for a Fairtrade Supporters conference in 3. AS described a list of wholesale Fairtrade suppliers produced by the Dundee Fairtrade group, and wondered if we should have available a similar list; will try to procure one. 4. Ideas are needed for a competition or similar event for our anniversary in November. 5. FFTF is holding a schools' competition to design a logo, this autumn, and may organise a pre-Christmas fair e.g. in Leven. 6. MP to investigate possible links between the organisation/ organisers of the Open, Fife Council, and Fairtrade.
