2. Meeting on 8.01.2007 with St Andrews Community Council
AC had addressed the councillors, giving an up-date on the past year,
and a photograph and article had subsequently appeared in the Courier.
It was decided to submit a small report following the Fairtrade Nation
meeting in Perth on 27 January, to the Courier and Citizen. AS suggested
that church newsletters might be another medium for conveying information
about Fairtrade issues.
3. Fairtrade Fortnight

27 February with an evening reception and showing of a film about South
American banana production (non-Fairtrade), and will run until 5 March.

expenses); £50 from Fife Council for rent of the venue at the Byre;
£250 from East Area Co-op towards Jan NimmoÕs fee and expenses; £60
in vouchers from East Area Co-op for wine/ fruit juice, and £5 per bottle
corkage for Byre. AC to purchase the beverages and some nibbles. Byre
will receive 20% from the sale of any woodcuts. The reception will be
at 6 pm, the film showing at 7 pm, followed by discussion until 8 pm.
Invitations will be e-mailed wherever possible and tickets kept at the
door for those indicating their wish to attend. The wording of the invitation
was finalised, a request for information about any other events to be
held during Fairtrade Fortnight being included. AC hopes to have the
invitations sent out in early February.

list using the web-site information; PR to fold these. Inner side: finder
list; outer sides to include our logo, a list of local events during
Fairtrade Fortnight, and if space, general information about Fairtrade.
AC to buy coloured paper at Curtis Fine Papers for this and the flier
advertising the Art Exhibition and possibly other events, to be sent
out by the Byre.
