1. Finances

Currently there is £222.71 in the bank. It is hoped that we will hear soon regarding an application to the St Andrews Community Council (CC) 200 Club.

2. Fliers

Fliers asking shops etc to send up-dated details for the new Directory had been distributed round town. With several new contributors there are already 63 shops and businesses listed in it.

3. Town Directory

Production of the up-dated version is to go ahead in early March. If funds suffice, 500 copies of the entire booklet will be printed (cost estimate £300, MR to check price), if not, 1000 double-sided covers will be paid for, and we will print the inner pages, on the CC printer if possible, and collate the copies (cost under £200). Text on inner sides of cover to be retained in its present form. AS suggested including a ÔfinderÕ listing products and where they are available; PR and MR to compile and print this as a separate loose enclosure for the Directory. Information might also be sent to local press. MR to contact churches with Fairtrade stalls for up-dated details.

To be distributed round schools and possibly from town centre location to which it is hoped entries will be returned.
  • Stand in MorrisonÕs foyer Sat 11 March, 10am-4pm; MR to organise rota of helpers to man stall two at a time. MR to ask MorrisonÕs if they can donate any chocolate/ Geobars for sampling. We have tea and coffee sachets, and AC sending for Fairtrade Foundation pack of leaflets etc. for publicity purposes.
