1. Fairtrade Town Certificate
- This was circulated.
- Information/photo required by Fairtrade Foundation to be supplied
after 30 November

2. Declaration Event on 30th November
Invitations
- These have all been posted, so more needed for any further invitations.
- BR to e-mail two students and ask PL for a further address.
- MR will send reminders to the speakers nearer the time.

Table covers , napkins, bottle openers
- These will be required for 9 tables at Burgh Chambers.
- (note: MR had found where to hire tablecloths by the time these minutes
were uploaded.)
- FStJ to enquire at Students' Union (also re glasses, water jugs and
helpers).
- P&MR will provide paper napkins.
- All to take a bottle opener.

Wine and other drinks
- We currently have bought 21 bottles, mainly red, from Co-op and Alldays.
- PR to buy 9 bottles white, also 20 litres sparkling water
- PR has bought 25 litres Fairtrade orange and mixed juice at Tesco.

Nibbles
- To be bought either from Traidcraft (M. Geyer) or Greencity, according
to availability and prices. P&MR to look into the latter.
- Crisps: it is hoped to buy these locally via Shell garage. [BR notes
this is because they're a local product, not because we love buying
things at all-night garages!]

Table display
- FStJ offered to find out if some local shops would lend items for
a display of Fairtrade goods available locally.

Press coverage
- MR to liaise with the Citizen and the Courier re coverage, photos
etc before and at event; representatives of CC to be involved.

- Next regular meeting on 16th November, final 'get last things done

3. St Andrews Festival event at Byre Theatre, Saturday 26th November
- In view of the proximity to the 30 November Declaration Event, it was decided not to have
a Fairtrade stall there this year.

4. Directory
- BR now has an electronic colour and a black-and-white version of
this, using InDesign format.
- The Community Council will facilitate printing 100 mono copies, with
a donation of £10 from the Fairtrade Committee budget to cover costs
of toner and electricity [BR notes subject to full CC approval!]
- It was decided to look into the cost of printing the cover alone
in colour. P&MR and AM to collate the copies for distribution on 30
November.

5. Flier for town
- This will also be printed on CC printer. [BR notes subject to full
CC approval!]
6. Website
- BR reimbursed with a cheque for £32·74, the cost of the Campaign
website/domain.
